Macmine Junction

Macmine Junction is located between Killurin and Edermine on the Wexford to Enniscorthy railway line. The station was built to provide a change point on the Wexford to Dublin Line for trains to New Ross and Waterford via Palace.

The Macmine Junction to New Ross line closed on 31 March 1963. The track was removed from the track bed and the station was demolished.

The model depicts the River Slaney to the front, and the multiple tracks which would have been in place before the station closed. There is an operational turntable on the layout, and the layout can be set up to depict both steam and diesel eras on the line.

This layout is due for structural refurbishment.
