Connolly Shed

This 2ft x 1ft diorama built by Robert Roche depicts the shed at Connolly Station, Dublin. It has been displayed at several exhibitions in Wexford and won 'Best Diorama' at Easter 2017.

The shed at Connolly was used to service steam and later diesel locomotives. The shed has most recently become the Dublin depot for the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland (RPSI). The RPSI use the shed for storage of preserved locomotives and to prepare locomotives for outings from their Dublin base.
