Ballybeg on a OO scale model built by Gerry Byrne and is an Irish outline model.

This was Gerry's first layout after he restarted railway modelling. The layout fills the former study in Gerry's home and was completed in 2009.

The layout is designed to feature Irish locomotives from late steam era to IE days before semaphores were removed. The layout uses DCC for locomotive control and also for controlling the points and lights.
