Llanuwchllyn (Welsh translation: Church at the Head of the Lake) station was on the Ruabon to Barmouth line in Wales and a stretch from there to Bala has been restored as a narrow gauge line.

This layout by Gerry Byrne in N scale is faithful recreation of this Welsh location. This layout has been displayed in Ireland and the UK, making trips to Bala in support of the railway restoration project there.
